If you are new to billing, you will need to register with each health fund in order to be able to bill with their Known Gap / No Gap scheme. This can take (2-4) 4-6 weeks, depending on the funds. You will need to hold your billing by fund until you are registered with that fund. We will let you know as each HF confirms they have actioned your registration. Please don’t send claims until you hear from us or they may be rejected.

If you have billed previously and none of your details have changed, Synapse will change your minor ID with Medicare to allow you to bill with our system and we will let you know when this is done - it should only be a few days from signing up.
