Our billing service was provided for by a dedicated team of experts with decades of collective medical billing experience. Synapps MBS has collected that expertise into a medical billing system accessible through a smartphone app to provide a much faster, more accurate, more cost effective and scaleable solution for medical billing. All those intricate rules, conditions, and nuances that only an experienced medical biller would be aware of are now able to be applied in an instant with every medical claim transmitted to Medicare, DVA or a health fund. To date there are over 17,000 billing rules encoded into Synapps MBS to ensure accuracy, compliance and most of all likelihood of full and prompt payment of all claims.
We also need to talk about what Synapps MBS is not, and that is that it's not practice management software. It does not schedule appointments on a calendar, manage bookings nor manage patient records, correspondence and referrers. There are plenty products on the open market that provide those services, and many even let you bill and transmit claims. However they do not provide oversight as to whether those transmitted claims are fully compliant with the myriad of billing rules and don't provide support for when those claims are rejected. Previously you would need to take care of that yourself, have a member of the practice staff take care of that, or engage a medical billing service who would charge a percentage commission on all payments received. Synapps MBS takes care of much of the work that a billing service or member of your practice staff would otherwise have to to in managing your billings, in fact some specialties have 60% less rejections than using any other system.
