Informed Financial Consent module:

- IFC is patient pre-payment only. Includes initial SMS message and payment processing with full explanation of fees and rebates when the patient calls to pay

- Free merchant facility included (bank fees may be charged by the financial institution)

- Theatre lists and patient contact details, including mobile phone number, must be provided to us via the app by 9:00am no less than 3 full business days before the date of service

- You must send your billings to Synapse via the app within 24 hours after you have provided the service to enable us to promptly process rebates for your patients

- IFC service is charged at $10 per IFC when pre-purchased from Synapse and $12 per IFC when invoiced at the end of the month. Click here to register for the IFC module.

Billing send options:


1. Hold and check (save as draft) – Automatic transmission: OFF

2. Midnight daily – Automatic transmissions run once daily at Midnight

3. Instant (too late baby!) – Automatic transmission will transmit invoices immediately

‘Needs attention’ feature:

3. Claims required to be sent manually

4. 30+ days old Claims in ‘Claims required to be sent manually’ can be selected individually and ‘sent to Synapse’ for processing (conditions apply*).
